1000 free Marriott points

By Guillaume Schaer on September 17, 2017 0

Here is a very simple way to get 1,000 free Marriott points quickly. It only works if you have a Twitter account. Marriott just tweeted a simple giveaway here:

How long is an @NFL #football field, in feet? Answer with #RewardsPoints and score 1,000 bonus points if you get it right. pic.twitter.com/86n5CePV8k

— Marriott Rewards (@MarriottRewards) September 17, 2017

You need to answer to that tweet the following:
360 feet! #RewardsPoints

Within a few seconds, you’ll get a message from Marriott with details on how to add these points to your account.

Have fun…

Munich or Nice to San Francisco return in Business class from EUR 700

By Guillaume Schaer on September 2, 2017 0

Now it’s time to apply the BOOK NOW THINK LATER rule. Fly from Munich or Nice to San Francisco and back in business class for the price of economy. Flights from Munich start at EUR 750 and flights from Nice start at EUR 700. You can fly on Lufthansa, Swiss, United or Air Canada.

Here is the seat you could get on the Swiss Boeing 777 in Business class.

Would you love to spend 11 hours in that seat?

You can search directly on Google Flights to find availability. You can then book it on the airline website. This will make sure that the tickets are issued immediately.

You can cancel for free within 24 hours, so book it now and plan the rest of your trip later. And don’t forget to wait a few days before booking hotels and other parts of your trip.

Get UNLIMITED inflight Wi-Fi for $10 per month

By Guillaume Schaer on August 7, 2017 1

If you’re traveling often, you need a way to stay connected. Roaming charges are usually quite expensive and getting a local sim card can be a pain…

Getting Internet access while in the air is even more expensive. As an example Lufthansa and American Airlines each charge USD 19 for 24 hours access. For a full day, Etihad charges USD 24 and Delta charges USD 28.

Meet US Mobile

US Mobile

US Mobile is an American Mobile Virtual Network Operators (it means that they use the mobile infrastructure of partner phone companies). They just started a great offer for frequent (and even infrequent) travelers. They launched an unlimited Wi-Fi plan that allows you to connect to more than 35 million hotspots in the ground and in the air. Yes, you’ve read that correctly. We’re talking about 20 airlines worldwide with unlimited Internet access for a monthly fee of USD 10. Cheaper than a sandwich in most airports…

Get Internet access on thousands of airplanes

They partnered with iPass to give you full access to their network. We’re talking about more than 2,700 planes in North America (on Delta, American Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Virgin America, United and Air Canada).

And we’re also talking about hundreds of planes on some of the largest airlines (Lufthansa, Etihad, Air France, KLM, Singapore Airlines, etc.). Here is the list at the time of writing.

You can always get the updated list on the iPass website.

How does it work

Just head to the US Mobile website to open an account. It will cost you only $10 per month. Then you have to install the iPass app that will allow you to connect to any iPass hotspot around the world. Keep in mind that the subscription will be linked to one single device (your phone, your laptop, your tablet…). You will not be able to connect two devices at the same time.

What are you waiting for? Order it now on US Mobile. You will save money from your first flight…

Discover California. Fly Business to Los Angeles for EUR 1,200

By Guillaume Schaer on June 13, 2017 0

Airlines are fighting to fill up seats from Europe to the US at the moment. So it’s a good time to discover California. Here is a short video to show you what you could do and see in California.

This time it’s all about positioning. If you are willing to depart from Vienna, flights to Los Angeles in business class are around EUR 1,200. You can search for dates and book them directly on our booking system.

But here’s more. The same prices are also valid to Miami, Las Vegas or New York. You could fly from Vienna to Los Angeles, rent a car and fly back to Europe from Las Vegas. Here is a sample itinerary from our booking system.

These prices are available on Austrian airlines direct flights, on Lufthansa flights via Frankfurt, on Swiss flights via Zurich and on United airlines flights until December. Pro tip: flying on Boeing 777 from Austrian or Swiss is the most comfortable of these options.

Tired of waiting at airports? Enjoy access to 10 business lounges for USD 150

By Guillaume Schaer on May 27, 2017 0

Are you flying a few times per year in Economy? Are you tired at eating the same airport food over and over? Are you tired of paying too much for a small drink while waiting for your flight? I found a perfect offer for you.

I’m sitting now in an airport lounge while waiting comfortably for my next flight. With an all-you-can-eat food and beverages buffet, a few comfortable couches to relax before my flight and free Wifi, airport lounges are the best way to wait for a flight. You can even take a shower or get a cocktail from the bar, courtesy of the airline.

As you might be aware, lounge access is a given when you’re flying Business or First Class. But what if you’re flying in Economy? What if you’re flying on a Low Cost airline such as EasyJet, Ryanair, JetBlue or AirAsia.

Enters Priority Pass

Priority Pass is the world’s largest independent airport lounge access program. With a Priority Pass membership you can access more than 1,000 airport lounges worldwide regardless of the airline you’re flying with. At some airports, the lounges are before security, allowing you to access them even if you’re not flying.

The Standard Plus subscription is the perfect solution for regular travelers. It includes 10 lounge visits for one year. The regular price for this subscription is USD 249 per year. Today, I’ll show you how you can get this down to roughly USD 150.

As Priority Pass is celebrating its 25th anniversary, you can get the Standard Plus subscription for USD 199 on their website (this means 25% off the standard pricing). It means that each visit would cost you USD 20. Not bad for free drinks, free food and free Wifi in a quiet environment.

What if I told you we can get this deal down even more? Groupon UK has an interesting offer for Priority Pass and this offer is STACKABLE with the 25 anniversary promotion. For GBP 6 (roughly USD 8), you buy a coupon to get 25% off the Standard Plus Membership. As this is STACKABLE with the previous promotion, it would cost you roughly USD 150 to get 10 lounge access in any of the participating lounges worldwide.

Lounge access doesn’t make you travel faster, but it makes waiting in airports way more bearable…

Summary

To summarize, first go to the Priority Pass website to check the offer and the list of lounges. Then go to Groupon UK (even if you don’t live in the UK)  and order a “25% discount on Standard Plus Membership with ten visits included”. You will get an electronic voucher via email. Then go back to the Priority Pass website. Select the Standard Plus Membership and add the Voucher number. You’ll be able to use your Priority Pass membership within a few minutes with the mobile application that serves as an electronic access card.

Got a friend? Take them to Thailand in Business class

By Guillaume Schaer on May 2, 2017 0

SWISS just released an amazing new offer to Bangkok, Thailand. You need to start in Italy (it can be either Milan, Rome or Venice), giving you a good opportunity to visit one of these cities. From there, you will fly to Zurich where you will depart on a 11-hour flight in a brand new Boeing 777 in Business class. Check out your seats. You will enjoy an exclusive meal and you will arrive in Bangkok fully rested and ready to enjoy your holiday.

Would you love to spend 11 hours in that seat?

This is what we call a “companion fare“. It means that this offer is only valid if two people are traveling together. This is a great opportunity for a sunny vacation…

You need to book it before May 22nd and you need to start your travel before February 28th, 2018. This fare is currently wide-open, it means that you can just go to our booking system and search for the dates you’re interested in. Don’t forget to select two passengers and search for Business Class.

Here is an example:

Milan to Bangkok for EUR 2615 for two people in Business Class

After a few days in Bangkok, you could decide to fly to Krabi and take a boat to Koh Phi Phi to enjoy the beach. The 1-hour flight to Krabi only costs EUR 50 in economy. You can also book it on our booking system.

Enjoy the beach in Thailand
